Adult Improvers Sessions

Confidence building sessions for adult members wishing to improve their sailing.

Before booking a place a pre-assessment should be arranged with one of our instructors. To do this please email improvers@boughbeech.org.uk 

Our Improvers sessions provide members with informal practice with the help and advice of our volunteers and volunteer RYA qualified instructors.   Suitable for those who have completed RYA level 1&2 or equivalent experience.  These sessions aim to develop your sailing skills and gain experience to help you become a confident leisure sailor or get ready to start racing.  Sailing is usually in the club’s RS Qubas, Laser Picos or Wayfarers but you are also welcome to use your own boat.

The Improvers Sessions take place on selected Sunday afternoons and start at 2pm. 

RYA Level 1 and 2 Course

Suitable for beginners this course teaches the basics of sailing.

RYA level 1&2 courses are run for members from time to time at Bough Beech Sailing Club 

RYA Start Racing Course

This is for adults and a great starting point for racing. It will give you all you need to know to get round the course and have the confidence, skills and knowledge to take part in club racing in good conditions.

Learn to Windsurf

Informal sessions run by experienced members designed to get you up and riding in no time. No prior experience necessary. Any questions please get in touch with the Windsurf and SUP captain at windsurfers@boughbeechsc.org.uk
