Youth Coaching
For all youth sailors who have completed RYA level 2 and above or who are of an equivalent standard, who would like to improve their sailing skills, make new friends, reconnect with old friends and have fun on the water.
As you follow the web collect process you will be able to indicate the type of boat that you would like to sail and sailing ability. If you are not sure please contact Rachael on youth@bowmoor.co.uk to discuss - much easier to do this in advance thank you.
The Optibat group uses club boats which are available for hire and is for those who have recently completed their RYA level 2.
There are also club Fevas,Teras and Toppers available to hire for these dates. Usual usage fees apply.
You can hire boats on an annual basis that you can use for training and practice / racing at http://www.bowmoor.co.uk/wp-2013/?page_id=118.
We have a limited number of hire boats and these will be allocated to trainees on the basis that people have paid to hire and then the order of booking the training course.
Coaching days will cost £20 per sailor per day for members and £25 per sailor per day for non-members. Each child is required to have a parent or guardian on site for the day. To keep the costs down we also ask that parents help out either ashore or afloat as needed, thank you.
To book more than one date tick the 1st box and the number of tickets, add to basket and then tick the next box and the number of tickets and add to the basket. Continue until you have booked the dates required. .
Bookings and boat hire are on a first come first served basis and will close midday the Tuesday before the Saturday, this enables us to confirm the coaches for the weekend.
