Membership categories and annual subscription charges are detailed below. Please note if you apply as a new member the system sends a notification stating your membership is awaiting approval.

The resume of key rules is:
No swimming except at swim sessions, pre-booked using Actio
No access to pontoons or waterside without wearing a buoyancy aid
Members may bring one guest up to four times per year. This must be booked & paid for via WebCollect.
SUP and sail are subject to Buddy Rules, no solo SUP or sail
Please close the gate if you are last to leave or using the club at low traffic times
Safety first, please ask people you don't know if they are members/offer help etc
Please feel free to gently point out any occurrence which may lead to issues or problems
We are a members club and should all seek to help and support each other
Covid:
I confirm that I do not have COVID19 symptoms or have, knowingly, been in close contact with someone who has.I will not attend the club if this changes.
I have read and understood the Club's policies and will comply with them at all times.I understand the rules and accept that the act of rescuing or being rescued carries a risk of virus transmission.
Please also remember we do ask for a couple of volunteering sessions each year from all members.
Swim members receive an intro at any of the swim sessions.
SUP members can join after completing a course and/or induction (depending on level of experience) at Chelmarsh. e mail Dewi dewi.pennell@gmail.com for further SUP info.
New sailing members should be inducted by a committee member (including fleet captains)

To provide the level of assurance required to the committee that all new members are safe to paddle on Chelmarsh Reservoir, there are three routes to membership:
- Member must have a recognised SUP qualification to the minimum standard of the Walk on Water (WoW) Course. Or
- Member has completed a WoW Course. Or
- Potential untrained but competent members can join. Membership will be put on hold until paddling abilities can be witnessed by an experienced member of the SUP club.

Period: 365All Swim members must join Nowca & then link accounts by signing on to nowca.org and then club listing apply Chelmarsh, this then gives you access to free swims. Guest
Period: 1A member may bring a guest up to 4 times per year. If the guest goes on the water then a fee becomes payable and the guest becomes covered by club insurances.
Such guest provision is incorporated under Appendix A clause 4 of the Club Rules. This form provides an electronic equivalent of the visitors book and also allows an Associate member (SUP) to invite a guest.
A guest may participate in club activity with the member and this includes the member being able to hire club equipment for the guest provided that:
1) The guest is suitably qualified. The member is personally responsible to assure this, if any doubt please speak with a committee member.
2) The guest remains with the member and abides by club rules at all times.
3) Only members can purchase alcohol from the club bar.
There is no swim guest membership. Any Nowca member can swim at Chelmarsh using the standard Actio pre-booking process & payment of fee.
