Family Social
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberIncludes 1 or 2 parents and all children under 18 on 1st Jan or are F/Tstudents. Have no vote. Cannot park a boat
Social/Bridge
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberParticipates only in the social activities of the Club, cannot park a boat and has no vote
Cadet 16-29
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberIs over 16 and under 30 y on the 1st January, and has one vote
Junior Under 16
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberIs under 16 y on the 1st January, but has no vote
Family Sailing
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberOne family member or more is/are involved in sailing activities.
Members over 16 have one vote
Includes 1 or 2 parents and all children who are under 18 on 1st January or are Full Time students
Also includes 1 child under 30.
Have full use of all Club facilities.
Single Sailing
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberIs involved in sailing activities, is not a Full Time student, is over 18 on 1st January. Has 1 vote. Has full use of all Club facilities
Powerboat/ Water Sports
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberEngages in motorised and non-motorised water sports. Cannot park a sailing boat and has no vote.
Country
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberIs a Full Member of an RYA or ISA recognised sailing club, cannot park a boat and has no vote.
Boat Parking
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberCLYC 17 - Dinghy & Cruiser Park Rules
Members must be aware that they are responsible for adequately securing their property. CLYC cannot take responsibility for damage to or theft of craft or other equipment stored in the boat parks. The Club reserves the right to exclude boats deemed by the Committee to be un-seaworthy or a hazard to other members. The Club reserves the right to move boats at the owners’ risk.
1. Boat Park Space Allocation
1.1. On receipt of the completed forms together with the appropriate payment the Committee
will allocate a suitable space (usually the same space as was occupied the previous year), and provide a numbered sticker.
1.2. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
1.3. It is the responsibility of members to ensure that they affix the sticker to their craft or trailer, as soon as possible, in such a position that it can be seen when the craft or its trailer is in the normal stored position.
1.4. The Club reserves the right to red-label the property and publish a list of members who have not paid for their boat parking space by April 1st.
1.5. NO REFUNDS will be given for property removed during the year
1.6 Electricity cables may only be led to cruisers after approval by the Committee.
Use of indoor 13 Amp plugs or sockets outdoors is unsafe and therefore forbidden.
Any equipment deemed unsafe will be removed by the Committee.
2. Abandoned Boats
If no payment or communication has been received by the Club by April 1st the property will be deemed to have been abandoned and the following procedure will be invoked:-
2.1. The property will be red-labelled and may be moved to the Red Zone.
2.2. Efforts to contact the owner of the property will be made by telephone and by letter.
2.3. If this proves unsuccessful by July 1st, an advertisement advising the owner of the property’s status will be placed on the Club notice board.
2.4. If no response has been received within 30 days of these advertisements, the property will be inspected and may be disposed of at the discretion of the Executive Committee.
3. Responsibilities of boat owners
Owners of boats and equipment in the CLYC boat park are responsible for:-
3.1. Ensuring that they affix the payment stickers in a timely and appropriate manner.
3.2. Ensuring that their property is securely stowed and does not constitute a hazard to other craft or people by being blown over
3.3. Ensuring that they maintain adequate third party insurance for their boat
3.4. Ensuring that they advise the Club if they sell their property and, if it will remain in the boat park, who is the new owner. Boats and equipment sold to non-members must be removed from the boat park immediately.
Security Gate Registration

Annual End Date: 31st DecemberThis non-returnable deposit is to contribute to the cost of cleaning the Club house after the event.
BOTH refundable and non-refundable subscriptions must be paid on application
Club House Booking - Refundable
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberClub House Booking - £250 Refundable deposit provided damages etc do not need to be deducted.
The member booking the event agrees to the above conditions and acknowledges that any breach of conditions may impact on the deposit.
