As well as the opportunity to get out with a group of like-minded people, membership includes affiliation to the BMC (British Mountaineering Council) which gives a number of benefits:

• access to BMC training courses;
• £10 million Civil Liability insurance;
• discounts with outdoor retailers.

We’re a very friendly and welcoming club but if you decide we’re not what you’re looking for we’ll refund your membership fee in full if you decide to leave within three months of joining. We want you to be happy!

EVENTS

Events are not visible on this page until you sign in and only events available for booking are displayed. To see the full ist of events on the Club website click here.

Before booking - members are advised to check the 'last refund date' on the Club website and click here to read the current Club refund policy and procedure before booking.

To avoid extra work for our Treasurer and Booking Secretary, please -

• pay at the time of booking;
• make a separate payment for each event;
• book separately rather than on the same order if going with a partner or friend.

Need a lift or can offer one? - click on 'Book Place' then 'Bookings' then  'show' to to see who's going and any lifts offered or wanted.

Event full ? - go to the event listing and click on the name of the person listed as ‘Contact’ to email a request to go on the waiting list.

Need to cancel or contact the organiser? - go to the event listing and click on the name of the person listed as ‘Contact’. Refunds for paid events are subject to the Club’s  refund policy.
