Intermediate River Tees Trip
Difficulty: Generally we’ll be paddling Grade 2/3 rapids but with more continuous sections. There may be one or two harder rapids but it will be possible to portage these or possibly grade 4 sections. Suitable as for intermediate paddlers how have done previous white water river trips.
Where is it: River Tees (Barnard Castle) - which section of the river to be confirmed nearer the time.
Where do we meet: At the club at 8am (local meeting point tbc)
What do I need: Normal paddling equipment (wetsuit/drysuit/warm clothing – not wetsuit shorts - and waterproof top, buoyancy aid, spray deck, helmet), pack lunch and hot drink (in a flask), plus snacks, change of clothing (including warm clothes for after paddling), towel.

Other Information: We will also need a consent form / parents permission for any unaccompanied under 18's that want to come on a trip. Download a consent form from the 'Club Policies' Page (under Health & Safety section).
