RYA Level 1 / 2 sailing course
RYA Level 1 & 2 combined sailing course. This course will be run at Buzz Active in Eastbourne. The course will take place either on a lake or on the sea, depending on conditions.
Course Dates:
Our course will be run over 2 weekends in March: Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th April, Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th April.
The course includes:
- Hastings & St Leonards Sailing Club membership for the whole of 2021
- The course handbook “Start Sailing” and the RYA log book
- Introductory evening at Hastings & St Leonards Sailing Club, where the group members can meet each other and members of the Hastings & St Leonards training team
- The cohort of trainees will be trained as a “Hastings” group by Buzz, thereby keeping the group together
- On completion of the training and attaining the RYA level 2 students will then undertake a familiarisation session at Hastings both on land and on shore for rigging our club boats, launching etc
- Successful trainees will have free use of training boats on Saturdays for the remainder of the summer and opportunity to take part in the Saturday SAIL series aimed at supporting novices.
The course costs £280 for non members and £235 for existing Hastings & St Leonards SC club members.
