At Hollowell we have a number of craft available for hire, to suit all ages and abilities. All boats should be booked on-line before taking the boat out. There is a PC available in the clubhouse for such purposes.

There are two Boat Hire pages, one for single handers and one for double handers (Picos and Hartley H12/2 are in the double hander section)

Simply click on the Book Places button, choose the date and boat you require. 

Below is an overview of our boats:

For smaller children:    Optimist or Tera   (single handers)

For older children: Topper or Pico (Pico can be sailed with two children), Feva or Hartley H12/2 a double hander for the more experienced

For smaller adults: Pico   or  for the more experienced Laser with the 4.7 or Radial rigs. The Hartley H12/2 will take two small adults.

Adults: Laser with full rig, Hartley H12/2 sailed with one person. For more than one person there are several Wayfarers available which are stable and forgiving boats. The Quests are smaller and lighter than the Wayfarers and also suited to novices. The Xenon and Bahia for the more experienced sailors wanting to use double handers and fly asymmetric spinnakers.
