Welcome to Ibex Canoe Club
IBEX Canoe Club Brixham is a non profit making local club run by volunteers.
We have an enviable location on the harbour side in Brixham and aim to provide the equipment and expert tuition you need to safely take to the water in sea kayaks. The facilities and equipment are paid for by a members annual subscription fee plus fees charged for training courses.

Membership
Based out of our club house on the harbour side at Brixham, we offer training courses for beginners, intermediates and juniors if accompanied by an adult (please check before enrolling junior members due to limited places).
We provide you with the equipment and expert tuition you need to safely take part in this fun outdoor activity.
- Kayaks, buoyancy aids, spray decks and paddles provided.
- BCU qualified coaches
- Based from our Brixham harbourside location
- Small groups so booking essential.
Beginners courses usually start in May and are normally held on Thursday evenings over 4 weeks, followed by the intermediate course. Each course currently costs £40 and membership to IBEX is also required.
If you're already confident then come along and join us on one of our weekly sea kayak paddles usually on Wednesday evenings through the summer.
