2020 Taster Session Sat AM 9th May - £20   iCal entry for this event

Beekeeping taster session with Leeds Beekeepers Association

Want to find out more about keeping bees? If so, then a taster session might be for you,

Spend a couple of hours with Leeds Beekeepers at our Temple Newsam Apiary to have fun and find out about honey bees and what its like to be a beekeeper.

The taster session combines a talk about keeping honey bees in the UK and a group colony inspection with an experienced beekeeper.

You will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions during the talk and during the inspection.

This is the perfect experience if you are thinking about taking up beekeeping but are just not quite sure or if you just want a hands on weekend experience to remember.

If you find you want to continue and learn more about beekeeping, then the price of this taster session can be discounted against one of our new beekeeper courses.

By purchasing this course you agree to accept the LBKA GDPR policy. The full policy can be viewed on our website : leedsbeekeepers.org.uk  Select 'About' from the top menu bar, then 'Constitution and Policies', the LBKA GDPR Policy is listed.

These are some images from our previous taster session.
