Winter Workshop - Better Starts and First Beat strategies plus more
Wednesday 26th February 2020
Meet up with like-minded friends at Wednesday evening workshops in 2020 where there will be opportunities to brush up your knowledge and engage in some healthy debate.
Sessions will start at 7.15pm prompt, we will serve dinner & drinks beforehand from 6.30pm. Yvette has put a great set of menus together again so if you're coming straight from work or just fancy a sociable dinner beforehand then book on as she needs to know numbers.
For this third workshop we've managed to persuade Dave Woodhead to attend this session to continue the sharing of racing tips started in January. Dave has been sailing since 1961 and has been a top level RYA Coach since 2001. His recent roles with the RYA include head squad coach, regional club coach and OnBoard Coordinator. Dave currently sails a Scorpion and a Solo, he has consistently been at the top of the table in the RYA NW Master Travellers Series for several years.
Dave's presentation will be interactive and he is open to suggestions regarding what topics to cover - please email any requests to me davekelsall@btinternet.com His presentation will definitely cover the importance of and how to get a good start (my own request).
Food must be booked in advance to give Yvette numbers for to catering for our needs. If you are not having food then just book on to the session so we know approx numbers for the session.
