As a BMC affiliated club joining us gives you the following benefits:
- £10 million Civil Liability insurance
- access to BMC Travel and Activity insurance
- discounts with over 600 outdoor retailers
In addition to the above, joining us entitles you to:
- take part in any of our meets held during the year with other like minded members
- access to our club huts for you and up to 3 guests at reduced rates
- vote at club meetings
Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December and subscriptions are pro-rated for anyone who joins from 1 July onwards.
We may be able to offer reduced fees to anyone facing financial hardship. Please contact the Treasurer or Membership Secretary in confidence if you would like to ask about this.
CASC Status
As the club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club we can claim Gift Aid in certain circumstances. Part of the subscription costs below are deemed to be voluntary in order that the club can reclaim Gift Aid on this element of the subscription. For this reason we ask that all members complete a Gift Aid declaration and pay the voluntary element of their subscription cost. The voluntary element of the subscriptions is reviewed annually by the committee and adjusted as necessary.
Payment methods
In order to minimise admin costs we only accept payment by direct debit - setup takes a few minutes online, is secure and enables you to make additional payments in the future at ease. Please note it can take up to 10 days to collect your first payment if you haven't signed up before.
Hut keys
If you want to buy a hut key, so you can access our huts, these are only available to Club members. As a consequence you need to sign into WebCollect using your credentials. You will then be able to order a hut key from this page.
Joint Membership

This is the same as full membership but is available for a couple, civil partnership or married couple and provides a discount on the second person's membership fee.
Includes a voluntary contribution of £12.43.

Family Membership

Prospective Membership
Period: 91This is available to anyone interested in joining the club and wants to try us out.
Prospective Membership is limited to a maximum of 3 months after which we ask that you upgrade your membership.
Prospective members are covered under the BMC Civil Liability insurance but will not be entitled to vote or use the club's huts other than as a guest.
Full Membership

This is available to anyone over the age of 18.
Includes a voluntary contribution of £13.71.

Student Membership
