Paddleboard Sports Open Event - 03/08/2024
Dear all
We are planning a Paddleboard Sports Open Event at the club on Saturday 3rd August 2024
Kick off around 11am with lots of activities and races all afternoon and then BBQ (Bring & Burn) and a disco in the evening
Lots of fun on the water activities planned, bring your own paddle board, wetsuit, buoyancy aid (wetsuit and BA available to borrow if required). We also have a number of SUP's available to hire too if needed.
£5 for adult members (children up to 16yrs old free)
£10 for adult non members (children up to 16yrs old free)
£5 per tent/camper/etc, per night for non members
£5 for adult non paddlers/spectators (children up to 16yrs old free)
£10 paddle board hire
BBQ - the club will donate some burgers and sausages and bread rolls, please bring something to accompany it (coleslaw, potato salad, salad, ketchup etc., etc., etc.)
Bar will be open from 12noon
Prizes for best in each category - Alex is the judge and her word is final!!
Sounds like a fab day and hoping we get lots of paddlers out on the water.
**PLEASE NOTE - You must have Public Liability insurance to attend the event to cover £2million. If you join the RYA or Paddle UK you will qualify for free insurance and get great advice, tips and support to boot! **
