- Please feel free to contact the membership secretary to discuss the options or drop into the Sailing Club when there are members present who can advise you on the options
- You need a "Sailing Membership" for all watersport users, including paddle sports and board sailing.
- If you choose a "with duties" option you are expected to contribute to the club duties on at least 3 occasions in the year. If you have failed to volunteer for any duties in the past year you should consider taking the "No Duty" option.
- Subscription rates are index-linked and rounded to the nearest whole number to rise annually if necessary.
- Please remember to add the Joining Fee if you are a new member.

Family Sailing No Duties
Annual End Date: 31st December- The Non Duty Option is intended to help members who, because of work or family commitments cannot fulfil their duties and is not intended for members who race regularly to pay to avoid having to do duties.
- There is now an option to pay monthly please go to Family Sailing No Duties (Monthly Payments)
- If joining partway through the year there is a pro rata rate. This only applies during the first year of membership. see below

Sailability
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberThis is where you should register your interest in having a go at sailing with our sailability team. Your first session is free after which you will need to pay a small £6 fee to cover some of our costs. Please complete the form as accurately as possible so that we can carefully assess any special equipment or needs that we need to consider.

Family Sailing With Duties
Annual End Date: 31st December- Any genuine family unit, normally living at one address; married couples, unmarried partners, single parents and any related children under 18yrs or in full-time education.
- It is not intended for casual friends or unrelated helm/crews where both parties require a Single or Family Membership in their own right.
- You will be expected to volunteer for various duties through the year -if you do not volunteer you will be allocated duties.
- There is an option to pay monthly please go to Family Sailing with Duties (monthly payments)
- There is an option to pay to opt out of doing duties - this option should not be taken by members regularly sailing in races - please go the Family Sailing No Duties.
- If joining after the end of March there is a pro rata reduction to the end of December.
- The Pro Rata rate applies only in the first year of membership.

Boat Berths

- If you are taking out a sailing membership on a monthly direct debit during January you can opt to add this to your monthly payments by going to Boat Berths Monthly Payments.
- Alternatively, you can pay this as a lump sum.
- If you are taking out a berth after 1st June the cost will be £50 to the end of December.
- There is no arrangement being made for monthly payments after January.

- The Boat Hire Group gives you access to a fleet of around 10 sailing boats at Piddinghoe for the whole year.
- You are limited to using one boat at any one time. unless you have taken out a family Hire option
- If you are a member of this group you are expected to look after the boats and the kit responsibly and to affect any minor repairs you spot and report any other issues to the bosun.
- This add-on can be added to a monthly membership payment if you have opted for this method of paying for your main membership. The total for the year on a monthly subscription will be £162/ £264
- You can pay this as a lump sum payment - go to Boat Hire Group - Annual. - the lump sum annual payment is £160
- The monthly rates will be increased every January in line with inflation
Piddinghoe Caravan monthly
Period: 30You must have organised with the Rear Commodore Piddinghoe to berth your caravan at Piddinghoe. The charge is £480 for the year or £40 per month which equals £480. Storing a caravan is considered a privilege and caravan owners are expected to contribute to volunteering to duties or maintenace of facilities through out the year.
You are expected to pay the camping fee for every night that you spend in the caravan.

Boat Berths renewals

Piddinghoe Caravan

Four spaces are available for members to store their caravans at Piddinghoe. The rate is £520 for the year. There is a monthly payment option of £44 per month which adds to £528 pa . If the caravan is used on-site the camping fee per night will still apply. Storing a caravan is considered a privilege and owners of caravans stored are expected to contribute to duties or maintenance of facilities throughout the year
