Poole Harbour Weekend

This year we are returning to our original campsite on Poole harbour at Cleavel Point.
You can find some details HERE. The site is beautifully secluded on the banks of the second largest natural harbour in the world. The site is strictly tents or small campervan only. No motorhomes or caravans aloud. Dogs are allowed, on a lead. Facilities are basic with a drinking water tap and portable toilet. You are welcome to bathe in the harbour. I understand the mud is very good for the skin. Fires off the ground are permitted. We’ll probably arrange a shared BBQ or similar for the Saturday night.
The site is not easy to find but will be well signposted from the Corfe Castle Road. There will be lots of opportunities, all weather and tide dependent to explore the harbour including Brownsea Island. We can explore further afield and trip along the Jurassic coast. Poole Harbour CC are kindly lending us their boat trailer so we can shorten shuttles if required. I’m sure some of their members will be joining us for the weekend or just a day. Their local knowledge will be invaluable. We are not arranging any coaching but I’m sure we will have competent leaders amongst the attendees to ensure the management and safety of the group.
Cost £25pp for the weekend, £15 Children (Under 18). Day paddlers £5 per day
