Llandegfedd Sailing Club welcomes new members of all abilities; There is a high standard of racing on Sundays with Wednesday evening racing followed by curry and beer in the local pub during the summer months. This gives the keen racer the opportunity to compete against world and national champions, although the less competitive are still made very welcome to take part in club racing.

We offer RYA approved Training and Coaching, and are keen to develop our sailors of all abilities.

Llandegfedd Reservoir is conveniently located between Usk and Pontypool and is around 8 miles north of Newport. It has deep fresh water. It is less than half an hour's drive from Cardiff or the Severn Bridge, yet it is in an idyllic country setting which makes it one of the most beautiful inland sailing locations in the UK. This is why it is often described as the "Wales' best kept secret".
