Welcome to Royal Findhorn Yacht Club
Royal Findhorn Yacht Club (RFYC) is located in Findhorn, on the coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland, on a site overlooking the sheltered inshore waters of Findhorn Bay. RFYC is privileged to have a superb 250-year old building, with a fantastic view over Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth, a fabulous sailing area and a great heritage
With organised and supervised racing for dinghies and occasional cruiser activities the Club offers sailing and racing every weekend from April through to October
The highlights of the year are Cadet Week, and the Regatta Weekend which runs into Findhorn Week. Seven days of dinghy racing with social events every evening make an excellent start to the holiday season
For those wishing to learn to sail, the Club recommends our neighbouring Sailing School, Findhorn Watersports https://findhornwatersports.scot, who deliver RYA certificated courses in the Bay
Membership
New Members are always welcome
Members of the public are invited to take part in any club sailing event on a trial basis prior to making a decision on joining
Short term holiday season memberships are also available
The club is run by members, for members and it is expected that all members will volunteer in some capacity: on the water, maintaining the house and grounds, helping at social events, assisting with boat maintenance, helping to run regattas or on Council
You will have no difficulty in finding a role to suit you. Perhaps you have an area of expertise which you can offer us? If so, please speak to any of the Council
Non-members may purchase boat park subscriptions at increased cost compared to members
If you are an existing Member (or Non-Member Boat Park User)
- Your information on Dutyman and/or on the Club's membership database has been imported into WebCollect to create an Account for you
- Individual WebCollect accounts have been organised, where appropriate, by "Family" so that a member can pay/complete data collection on behalf of other members of the same "Family"
- To view your account Use the link sent to you by email
- OR select "Renew Subscription" and use the email address you have registered with Dutyman or used to correspond with the Club as your login name (You will have to "reset your password" to proceed)
- Your existing subscriptions have not been transferred so you will need to "Buy a different subscription" to renew your membership
- Similarly, if you are a Non-Member Boat Park User, you will need to "Buy a different subscription" to continue to use a Boat Park for storage
