RYA Safety Boat
Two day course, Peterhead
This course looks at how to rescue a variety of sailing dinghies, windsurfers, canoes, and kitesurfers, plus the positioning and planning of safety cover for events. It gives you skills and confidence to be part of a good safety team so you can better support sailing clubs & events. A great way to be involved on the water.
Participants must hold a powerboat level 2 certificate. Participants will be expected to sail and capsize a range of dinghies so bring dinghy kit.
On successful completion of your course, your name, certificate number and date of completion will be stored for up to 7 years. This information allows us to verify or replace your certificate if required.
For ages 16+.
