Candidates must be 16 or over and hold the following pre-requisites:

• Powerboat Level 2

• Have completed the RYA online Safe and Fun Safeguarding course.

• Candidates must also sit a pre-entry sailing assessment in the year preceding the course.

• Candidates must also be members of the RYA.

To teach at a RYA Training Centre, instructors will also have to hold a valid First Aid certificate.

Pre-entry sailing Assessments

These can be arranged at times to suit.   £50 per candidate  

Candidates will need to provide a crew to sail with or team up with another candidate.
