RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1 Courses 2018
An RYA course in dinghy sailing on the Welsh Harp Reservoir introducing you to the sport with all you need to know to get afloat under supervision. The course will cover how to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering. At the end of the two day course you should be able to sail in light winds under supervision.
Course A - Weekend 21st and 22nd April 2018 - Sat - 10.00am to 5.00pm / Sun - 11.00am to 5.00pm - £140
Course B - Weekend 2nd and 3rd June 2018 - Sat - 10.00am to 5.00pm / Sun - 11.00am to 5.00pm - £140
Course C - Sundays 1st and 8th July 2018 - Sun - 10.00am to 5.00pm / 2nd Sun - 11.00am to 5.00pm - £140
Course D - Weekend 22nd & 23rd Sept 2018 - Sat - 10.00am to 5.00pm / Sun - 11.00am to 5.00pm - £140
Bookings shut 1 week before the event
These courses are limited to a maximum of 6 people to one instructor. There will be a safety boat and instructor on the water at all times.
We would recommend the purchase of the RYA book "Start Sailing" G3 for teenagers and adults, as supplementary reading for the course.
