RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1 Courses 2019
An RYA course in dinghy sailing on the Welsh Harp Reservoir introducing you to the sport with all you need to know to get afloat under supervision. The course will cover how to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering. At the end of the two day course you should be able to sail in light winds under supervision.
Course A – Weekend 27th & 28th April 2019 – Sat – 10.00am to 5.00pm / Sun – 11.00am to 5.00pm – £140
Course B – Weekend 8th & 9th June 2019 – Sat – 10.00am to 5.00pm / Sun – 11.00am to 5.00pm – £140
Course C – Weekend 20th & 21st July 2019 – Sun – 10.00am to 5.00pm / 2nd Sun – 11.00am to 5.00pm – £140
Course D – Sundays 15th & 22nd Sept 2019 – Sat – 10.00am to 5.00pm / Sun – 11.00am to 5.00pm – £140
These courses are limited to a maximum of 6 people to one instructor. There will be a safety boat and instructor on the water at all times. We would recommend the purchase of the RYA book “Start Sailing” G3 for teenagers and adults, as supplementary reading for the course.
