Taster Sessions 2019
We are running a series of Taster Sessions in Kayaking, Sailing, Windsurfing and Stand Up Paddle Boarding throughout the season- these are an ideal way to try out a new sport, before signing up to a course.
The cost for the 90 minute session is £15 per person for kayaking, SUP’ing, sailing or windsurfing. All sessions must be pre-booked and paid for online. Please arrive 20 minutes before the session starts to book in and get changed and allow a similar time afterwards. We will supply dinghy or windsurfer, SUP board, kayak and paddles plus cagoule and buoyancy aid. You will be in a coached group for the whole session.
We have a range of sessions including RYA’s “Push the Boat Out” (PTBO), British Canoeing’s “Go Canoeing” (GC) and London Borough of Barnet’s “Silver Sunday” for the over 55’s. Why not treat your Dad to a Taster session on Father’s Day – you can join in as well? Sunday 29th September 2019 – 2.30 – 4.00pm – Kayak or Sail (Silver Sunday for over 55’s)
For all Taster sessions you will need to bring:
- T shirt or sweat shirt
- Shorts or tracksuit trousers
- Old trainers, sandals or wetsuit boots (no Crocs, wellies or slip-ons)
- Hat / suntan lotion if sunny
- Towel
- Dry clothes to go home in
- Money for drinks / snacks
- WebCollect printed booking voucher
We will supply all specialized equipment plus cagoule and buoyancy aid. You will be in a coached group for the whole session.
