Dart SW Championship + GP4 - 2016
The 2016 SW Dart 18 Championships + GP4 event all happens in the magical 40th year of Dart 18 sailing.
To celebrate the past 40 years of Dart sailing Restronguet SC and Windsport are joining forces to put together a very special event at the home of Dart on the 2-3rd July 2016.
This is all happening at the birthplace of Dart sailing where the first prototype was launch, Dart No. 1 sailed and the 1st national championships was held.
For those who have visited the home of Dart and sailed from our shores you will know just how lucky we are. To those who have yet to visit, this event is one not to be missed.
Program of events:
1st July (Friday) - "Windsport Challenge” Open to all Dart sailors this challenge will take you to every corner of our beautiful harbour. For details see http://www.windsport.co.uk/wordpress/?page_id=1781 - Please Contact Windsport if you would like to enter the challenge via info@windsport.co.uk
2nd of July (Saturday) - A day or great Dart racing followed by a" Dart Party on the Beach", live band and BBQ as the sun goes down.
3rd of July (Sunday) - Early start with 3 races back to back followed by a special prizes giving, all planned so everyone can get on the road at a sensible time.
…and if that is not enough, you are all welcome to stay on and enjoy sailing and the many other outdoor activities Cornwall has to offer!
