GENERAL RSGS MATCH-PLAY RULES

1. Top/first names to arrange the match AT THE LATEST FOUR WEEKS before the deadline for that round
2. At least two weekend dates must be offered to the opponent(s). Once the date for the match is agreed the Vice-Captain should be informed by email
3. Green Fees.  One half of green fees for visitor(s) to the club where matches are played is to be paid by the home player(s)
4. If it has not been possible to play the match by the date, the top name(s) will automatically go forward provided opponents have been given due notice
5. Governing match play rules.  The CONGU recommendations for match play are to be followed, which can be found on the CONGU website, and are subject to change from time to time
6. Adjustments to Playing Handicaps.  These are to be applied before handicap allowances are calculated.
7. Match Results.  Winning player/team to inform the Vice-Captain by email at vicecaptain@rsgsgolf.com
8. Matches tied after the designated number of holes are to be decided by Sudden Death, starting at the first hole of the course played on that day
