Get your festive season off to a crack(er)ing start by joining us at the Saltaire Striders Christmas Meal 2018.

We will have exclusive use of the upstairs dining room at Don't Tell Titus, with our very own cocktail bar for use through the evening.

We have reserved an area in the downstairs bar from 1845 for Striders and their guests to share a pre-dinner drink and natter before we head upstairs for 1930.

Starters

Chunky vegetable and pearl barley broth, with toasted sour dough V (GF on request)

Chicken liver tikka, spiced chicken livers and coriander on a garlic and olive oil crostini (GF on request)

Smoked salmon and prawn fishcakes, goats cheese mousse with a micro herb salad

Baked camembert and tomato granita, red onion chutney and artisan bread V (GF on request)

Punjabi Scotch egg, keema, cucumber and mint salad, and a creamy dhal sauce

 

Mains

Don’t tell Titus mezze dahl, samosas, chicken curry, Bombay potatoes, raita, mango chutney and garlic naan bread (V mezze also available)

Stuffed peppers with baingan bharta (aubergine curry) Bombay beetroot salad, cucumber and mint raita with a fruity couscous V (GF on request)

The following served with honey and thyme roasted parsnips, poached carrots, shaved Brussel sprouts and apple braised red cabbage:

Roast breast of butter turkey, Cumberland and apricot stuffing, pigs in blankets, duck fat roasted potatoes and a rich red wine gravy

Slow roasted pork belly, spiced apple pie, crackling, red wine jus and sage Dauphinoise potatoes (GF on request)

Chargrilled Yorkshire-bred sirloin steak, confit field mushrooms, herb roast tomatoes, chimichurri sauce and chunky chips (GF on request) (£3.00 supplement)

Pan-fried seabass fillet on a bed of creamy pea, prawn and chive risotto finished with lemon oil

 

Desserts

Spiced pear and ginger cheesecake with a dark chocolate crumb

Cheeseboard selection, a selection of three cheeses, Yorkshire crackers, caramelised onion chutney, celery and grapes (GF on request)

Luxury Christmas pudding with brandy cream

Festive panna cotta with mixed berries and shortbread biscuits (GF on request)

Chocolate and orange tart with orange cream
