Membership is not automatic as the club is limited to 200 families. Families are invited to join when there is space. Full Family Membership is renewed annually in December/January and new Full Family members are usually invited to join in February/March each year.
A Full Family membership for 2024, is one, or two, co-habiting adults and all children within their guardianship who, on the 31 August 2023, had attained an age of not more than fifteen years.
We do not have any spaces for membership for 2024 - to join the waiting list for the 2025 season please email salternsmembership@gmail.com - thank you for your interest in joining the Salterns!
Child Over 12 Membership - 2026
Annual End Date: 31st DecemberThis Membership is for only one Child over 12 years old (as of 31st August 2025).
If there are additional children in the family aged under 12 years then a Full Family Membership is required.
If there are more children in the family aged between 12 and 15 years, each child will need to purchase separate Child Over 12 Membership (or Full Family Membership, whichever is cheaper).
A child will have not attained an age of not more than fifteen years on the 31 August prior to the date of the most recently concluded Annual General Meeting.
Please note - children over 12 still require a parent or loco parentis to remain on the Salterns site with them for insurance purposes.

ONLY for families whose primary residence is over 25 miles from the club as the crow flies. Includes all membership benefits except voting rights at the AGM.
