Boat Berth

Payment for berth for a boat. This entitles a member to a berth to keep his equipment. After purchasing a boat berth then you must contact the boatpark manager at boatpark@bowmoor.com to be allocated a berth before making a purchase. Spaces for boats that need a vehicle to be launched are very limited and can only be purchased with agreement from the membership secretary. membership@bowmoor.com
If you vacate your dinghy berth for a period but have every intention of returning then it would be a good idea to mark your berth with your name and telephone number. This should discourage other people from putting their boat in your berth.
As a condition of using a berth you must keep your property within the dimensions of the berth which is a maximum of 2.5m * 5m and keep your berth neat and tidy with the grass cut on a regular basis.
A boat sailboard,or canoe all need third party insurance for at least £2m.

Boat Berth
Annual End Date: 30th Septemberpro-rata price for 1/4 ⇒ 30/4
Payment for berth for a boat. This entitles a member to a berth to keep his equipment. After purchasing a boat berth then you must contact the boatpark manager at boatpark@bowmoor.com to be allocated a berth before making a purchase. Spaces for boats that need a vehicle to be launched are very limited and can only be purchased with agreement from the membership secretary. membership@bowmoor.com
If you vacate your dinghy berth for a period but have every intention of returning then it would be a good idea to mark your berth with your name and telephone number. This should discourage other people from putting their boat in your berth.
As a condition of using a berth you must keep your property within the dimensions of the berth which is a maximum of 2.5m * 5m and keep your berth neat and tidy with the grass cut on a regular basis.
A boat sailboard,or canoe all need third party insurance for at least £2m.

You must be qualified to RYA Level 1 & 2 or equivalent.
You must be competent at rigging the boat.
Hire boats can only be used at Bowmoor and for club organised off site events. Club equipment ie sails should not be used on members boats.
Priority for the use of any training boat is always given to any official training course.
You will be charged up to £100 for any damaged caused by your negligence.
