Powerboat Level 1 and 2

This course is only offered when there is sufficient demand. The course covers all aspects of driving the club's rescue boats including coming alongside, picking up the rescue boat off the mooring and all aspects of safe boat control. People who achieve this certificate are expected to help with rescue duties during club events or at the weekends.

Safety Boat

This course is offered when there is suitable demand and participants are required to hold at least a powerboat level 2 certificate. This course includes towing safely and recovering capsized and stranded boats. The course is of great benefit to members regularly involved in rescue and safety at the club.
