The club is a thriving social community of novice, intermediate and experienced sailors. We welcome new members of all abilities and ages.
We provide a safe and fun environment in which you can enjoy just pottering on the water, racing competitively or a mixture of both.
Exclusively to members, the club has a variety of club boats available for daily rental at £10 per day (£20 per day for Feva) payable to a member of the Committee at the club, via the Honorary Treasurer (email: treasurer@stmlsc.org.uk), payable online below or please use the Honesty Box in the clubhouse.
New membership application process
We offer full seasonal memberships. You can apply to join the club via Web Collect or via the club website contact form. You will then be invited to attend one of the club's recruitment days led by a member of the Committee so we can discuss what you're hoping to achieve by joining the club, explain how the club operates, and answer any questions you have. If your application is a good fit with the aims of the club, the Committee will approve your application. You will be kept informed throughout the application process.
Individual member
Annual End Date: 28th FebruaryIndividual member shall be any person over the age of 18 years who takes part in Sailing and Kindred Sports and who does not qualify as a Student Member.
Friend Member
Annual End Date: 28th FebruaryA Friend Member shall be any person over the age of 18 years who is the partner of an Individual Member and/or is a former Individual Member who wish to use the clubhouse facilities to socialise with other members or support Cadet Members. Friend Members cannot use the club facilities for Sailing and Kindred Sports. Friend members cannot use the club grounds for overnight camping unless accompanied by an Individual Member or Cadet Member.

Caravan pitch
Annual End Date: 28th FebruaryAll caravan pitches must be pre-approved by the Committee. If you have received confirmation of your caravan pitch, please renew your subscription here.
Otherwise please email StMaryLoch@gmail.com to be added to the wait-list. When caravan pitches become available, they will be advertised to all members.
Family Membership
Annual End Date: 28th FebruaryFamily membership shall be available to an adult couple where both wish to sail and undertake kindred sports, and to their children under the age of 18 years.
Student Member
Annual End Date: 28th FebruaryA Student Member shall be any person over the age of 18 years and under the age of 25 years who is studying full time at University, Technical College or any other educational establishment.
Cadet Member
Annual End Date: 28th FebruaryA Cadet Member shall be any person over the age of 7 years and under the age of 18 years. A Cadet Member when using the club facilities must be accompanied by a family member, or guardian, responsible for their welfare who is either an Individual Member or Friend Member.

Period: 0Members only - replacement or additional key for the clubhouse and vehicle access gate. £25 deposit, refundable on return.
