Paragliding is a sport with inherent risks which TVHGC takes very seriously. We run Pilot training programs to encourage Club Pilots to become better qualified, and we subsidise SIV courses so that pilots are better able to handle unusual situations in flight. However, in the event that there is still an incident on the hill the next best mitigant is to have highly skilled first responders present on site, and to enable this the club also subsidises First Aid courses. Don't be fooled though by the term. These are not your basic one day course that allows you to wear a yellow vest in the office. These are full blown Adventure Sports accredited courses that put you through a range of likely scenarios that you might encounter in the outdoors, and fully prepare you for being able to respond to an incident. 

We will hold these course through the year depending on demand. Please watch out for dates of the next course. All our course are discounted for members who joined the club minimum 6 months prior to the course. but also available full price for non-members or those who have recently joined .
