Member conduct:
Members representing Thames Valley Riding Club (TVRC) agree to uphold the Club’s constitution and the BRC Code of Conduct. They are responsible for ensuring they meet any entry criteria for competitions including purchasing a BRC Competition Pass.
In order to represent TVRC, Members must supply the Club with requested details, make payment via the method specified, and purchase a Competition Pass before any given deadline. Failure to do so may result in a withdrawal or suspension from representing TVRC.
If the deadline is missed, Members will be given a written warning. If unresolved after one week, Members will be suspended from representing TVRC for six months. This will be from the competition date. TVRC retains the right to withdraw competitors for late provision of payment or details.
Entries made for members by TVRC cannot be transferred without consultation and approval by Team Managers. Misconduct may result in Members being suspended from representing TVRC.
BRC Code of Conduct
The BRC Code of Conduct includes the welfare of the horse/pony; conduct of members, officials, volunteers and representatives; safeguarding; equality and diversity; good conduct and discipline; and the BRC social media policy. Examples of the code of conduct can be found in Section 1, pages 3 through to 12 of the BRC Handbook.
Members should ensure that they are up to date with the BRC code of conduct to encourage a smooth competition.
