Robert Pickles

Robert has a long and successful career as a rider, trainer, coach, BHS examiner, NVQ Assessor, and judge. He coaches riders from Pony Club to Grand Prix.  He is as happy to get a hairy cob moving forwards and freely as he is to get an advanced dressage horse to perfect its Freestyle Test. 

Robert is one of a rare number of equestrian professionals awarded a Fellowship by the British Horse Society.

 

Kim Seaby

Kim is an international dressage rider/coach with national and regional titles and a wealth of experience producing a variety of horse. Drawing on many years of experience including riding for James Burtwell, Woodlander Stud and more recently a 3yr placement based with her current trainer Spencer Wilton

Now under the banner of KAS Dressage, Kimberley's passion is producing harmonious partnerships and happy athletes along classic principles. Experienced in training horses and riders through the levels from Intro to Grand Prix, team quest to regionals, nationals and young rider British teams.

 

Colleen Hoekstra Knox

Colleen is an international Grand Prix competitor and qualified judge in the USA. She has vast experience training horses from youngsters to the top levels, and has been riding at FEI for over 20 years. In addition to dressage, she has a background in natural horsemanship and grew up in warmblood breeding industry through her family.

 
Colleen has a genuine passion for teaching riders of every skill level and ability.  She is skilled at breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand pieces to allow riders to achieve a genuine understanding of how to ride and train their horses. Through the study of biomechanics, horse behaviour and rider psychology, Colleen particularly focuses on back-to-front connection, classical riding, building confidence, and producing horses who are happy and relaxed in their work – which enables both horse and rider to achieve their full potential and have fun in the process!  She has numerous students winning at the regional and national levels from Intro to Grand Prix in both the USA and the UK.
