RYA Safety Boat Course
Weirwood Sailing Club is pleased to announce this Safety Boat Course at Weirwood Reservoir, Forest Row near East Grinstead, East Sussex
This RYA Safety Boat Course is a 2 day course follow-on from PB Level 2 for instructors and anyone involved in safety boat duties &/or wanting to gain greater knowledge and techniques. It includes the basic principles of how to assist, recover and tow dinghies, windsurfers, kayaks / canoes and other powerboats. Plenty of experience and a high level of boat handling is essential.
- Open to members and non-members (priority given to members)
- Students must be aged over 16 years & hold min PB2 Certificate with min. 12 months experience
- Students spend the majority of the course afloat on one of the club's power boats
- Leads to a formal RYA qualification on successful completion
Course dates Sat 18th & 19th June 2022 (both days required to complete course)
