Open Day for Aberdeen Kayak Club!
A free of charge day for anyone curious about kayaking to give it a shot and see what it's all about, and a chance for members of the club to socialise.
We will be having a picnic in the early afternoon, around 1pm-2pm so please feel free to take along some food and drinks (there is also a LIDL a few minutes away if snacks needed) and come socialise even if you don't plan on paddling!
Please book into one of the timeslots to guarantee we can get you on the water. Please note the timeslots include time for getting equipment and kit sorted, approximatley one hour on the water.

Important information:
If you would like to kayak, please wear comfortable, lightweight clothing and bring a change of clothes for after. Wear or take shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
Minimum age for children is 8 and everyone must be a competent swimmer.
We can provide all equipment required with the exception of clothing/shoes.
Location:
Seaton Park, containers by the water. Please see the attached image for directions from Seaton park entrance to the containers. There will be a gate at the entrance, there is parking by the containers but it is limited so bear that in mind, if you do drive down to the containers please close the gate behind you and follow the 5mph speed limit.
