Adult Rowing Membership

Adult rowing membership gives the holder full use of the Club's equipment and facilities. Only available to those over the age of 18. Payment is due in one lump sum and is a non-refundable annual subscription.

Staged payments of Adult Subscriptions are available at the Captain's discretion and for good reason.  If you wish to apply to pay for membership in staged payments, add a full-price subscription to your basket and then make contact with the Captain.

Junior Rowing Membership

Annual End Date: 30th April
Early bird £325

Junior membership gives the holder full use of the Club's equipment and facilities, under the supervision of Club coaches.

Only available to those under the age of 18. Payment is due in one lump sum and is a non-refundable annual subscription.

Staged payments of Junior Subscriptions are available at the Captain's discretion and for good reason, ie large families with multiple subs.  If you wish to apply to pay for membership in staged payments, add a full-price subscription to your basket and then make contact with the Captain.

Senior/Student Transition Rowing Membership

Annual End Date: 30th April
Annual subscription £130

Senior/Student Transition Membership gives the holder full use of the Club's equipment and facilities.

Only available to those in their final few months of the Junior Squad (year 13, aged 17 to 18). Payment is due in one lump sum and is a non-refundable annual subscription.

(NB Students under the age of 27 who are already in tertiary education should purchase a Senior/Student Whole-Year Rowing Membership, or a Senior/Student Vacation Rowing Membership.)

Senior/Student Vacation Rowing Membership

Annual End Date: 30th April
Annual subscription £110

Senior/Student Vacation membership gives the holder full use of the Club's equipment and facilities during University Vacations. 

Only available to those between the ages of 18 and 27 and in full-time tertiary education. Payment is due in one lump sum and is a non-refundable annual subscription.

Senior/Student Whole-Year Rowing Membership

Senior/Student Whole-Year membership gives the holder full use of the Club's equipment and facilities throughout the year.

Only available to those between the ages of 18 and 27. Payment is due in one lump sum and is a non-refundable annual subscription.

(NB those who intend to use the Club's facilities only during university vacations should purchase a Senior/Student Vacation Membership).

Non-rowing Coach or Coxswain Membership

Annual subscription £30

Non-rowing Coach or Coxswain membership gives the holder access to the Club and the use of its equipment for the limited purpose of coaching or coxing.

Only available to those adults who coach or cox but DO NOT row or scull at the Club.

NB The Club is entirely volunteer-run and does not offer payment or reductions in membership fees to Rowing Members who contribute to the running of the club, whether by coaching or coxing, or in any other way.

Non-rowing Supporter Membership

Annual End Date: 30th April
Standard subscription £30

Non-rowing Supporter membership gives the holder access to the Club and use of its facilities for the limited purpose of supporting the Club’s activities (for example, by driving a launch or driving a towing vehicle or as an alumnus wishing to receive newsletters).

Only available to those who DO NOT row or scull at the Club.

NB The club is entirely volunteer-run and does not offer payment or reductions in membership fees to Rowing Members who contribute to the running of the club including by coaching, coxing, launch driving, or in any other way. 

Temporary Rowing Membership

Period: 1
Five outings, per person or per seat, if bringing own boat £75
One outing, per person or per seat, if bringing own boat £15

Temporary rowing membership gives visitors (including prospective members) use of the Club’s equipment and facilities for a single outing. 

Only available for a maximum of five outings per membership year.  People who wish to continue at the Club after their five sessions must apply for full membership of the Club.

Adult LTR Subscription

This subscription gives an adult (over 18) membership of Bewl Bridge Rowing Club for the duration of a Learn To Row course.

Junior LTR Subscription

Period: 100
Standard subscription £150

This subscription gives a junior rower (under 18 years of age), temporary membership of Bewl Bridge Rowing Club, for the duration of a Learn to Row Course. Only those invited from the waiting list may apply.

Racking and Oar Storage

Members in good standing and with a fully paid annual membership may apply for permission to store private boats and oars on site at Bewl. 

Launch Hire

Launch hire gives qualified visiting coaches the use of a BBRC launch, with which to support visiting rowers and scullers at Bewl.

(Qualified adult members of BBRC may use BBRC launches without charge, provided that, for each session, the Club Rowing Lead for Adults or Juniors has agreed that a launch is available for the member to use).

Temporary Junior Taster

Temporary membership for a junior to attend a taster session with coached supervision by invitation onlyThere is no guarantee they will then be invited for a learn to row course or to become a junior member.
