The Donkey Foot: Common Conditions Presented by Marta Ferrari, The Donkey Sanctuary
This webinar will cover foot abscesses, white line disease, hoof wall reconstruction, laminitis and traumas to the hoof. All will be focused on differences between horses and donkeys.

Marta Ferrari qualified from the University of Bologna, Italy in 2004 and moved to the UK straight away. She completed an Internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery and a PhD in Comparative Biomechanics at The Royal Veterinary College, London. For the next 15 years, she worked in the UK as an ambulatory equine and large animal vet and was a Veterinary Advisor for the International working animal charity SPANA between 2017-2018. She joined The Donkey Sanctuary as Head of Veterinary Services (Clinical Director) in 2023.
