Welcome to Blyth Kayak Club
Welcom to Blyth Kayak Club. We are a non-profit making recreational organisation managed by volunteers through a small committee which meets monthly. The club is a constituted community group and is affiliated to British Canoeing. The club has a Constitution, a Risk Assessment and Health & Safety Policy and a Child Protection Policy. We have male and female coaches as our Child Protection Officers. All our coaches are volunteers, and we all have Enhanced DBS clearance. Currently we have coaches qualified from Level 1 to Level 3 with other members who are part way through their coaching qualifications. All our coaches are qualified in First Aid.
Pool Sessions 2026.
Blyth Kayak Club regret to announce that the weekly pool sessions at Blyth Sport Centre have been suspended until further notice. There is a problem with the ceiling above the pool and therefore the pool remains closed until it can be repaired. Unfortunately we have no idea when this will be, we will keep members updated with any developments.
We hope to be able to run some outdoor paddling sessions very soon once the weather and condition allow. Please accept our apologies.
