Medway Sailing Week (TT)   iCal entry for this event

TT is a well equipped and comfortable cruiser, 34’ and 4 or 5 berths. A Hunter Legend if that means anything for you, a US boat builder and very well designed with thoughtful features. Double stern or aft cabin, forward V-Berth for two and one or two in the saloon. This is a privately owned yacht that wears her years lightly. Built and equipped for comfort, if you feel the need for speed, go sailing with Stephen. We have sailed TT with a BB crew to Calais and back and she sails very well. Available from the beginning of May, as the season unfolds we will nominate BB weeks, but there is a lot of flexibility.

As an overview possible itinerary. Meet at boat and check over etc. Lock out, HW +/- 2hrs, sail downriver, to anchorage or Queenborough for overnight. Take early tide for six + hours to any of the target ports, Brightlingsea, Burnham on Crouch, Tollesbury, Mersey or Ramsgate. Only as examples. Sometimes we just go out into the Thames estuary and sail some triangles returning to Queenborough.

This past autumn and winter, your BB team have cleaned and polished her, anti-foul painted, engine serviced etc. The £250.00 price is per person based on four sharing. There might then be something like £150.00 per person to cover on board meals and groceries and harbour dues. Harbour dues could be zero if you anchor each night.

We would sail TT with a Club Skipper. Though not a coded yacht we run her as a coded yacht with fire extinguishers and safety equipment checked v a coding requirement.

We propose starting on a Saturday lunchtime and running through to the following Saturday but that could be the Sunday at no extra cost, same with a Friday pm start. Should anyone wish to have a long weekend, as in Thursday pm to Sunday afternoon, please ask.
