Start Course to join Kids Club
The Kids Start Award is the basic introduction to paddling which we offer to 8-13 year olds.
This session is required for those who wish to join Kids Club this summer but have not attended before.
Once the sessions has been sucessfully completed will ask you to get a CCC membership subscription for your child if they do not already have one before the Kids Club Starts in May
The session lasts 2 hours in which we will play games, introduce the different types of boats and get you going in a (roughly) straight line.
Please ensure that you wear lightweight thermal clothing or wetsuits and lightweight shoes (preferably slip-on). All other equipment is provided.
All participants must feel confident in the water when fully clothed and wearing a buoyancy aid.
Parents and carers do not need to be present during the session but need to be back in good time to collect their child.
