Chichester Canoe Club AGM

After Club night paddle on the water at 16.30
It is that time of year again, CCC AGM. As per the constitution all posts are up for re-election, but several of the members in their current posts are willing to stand again. Committee positions and roles are attached. We particularly need a Vice Chairman, Welfare Officer, Website guru, Bosun and New members’ volunteer. The meetings are held by Zoom, a minimum of 4 a year, plus the AGM.
The core Management Committee consists of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Safety Officer and Welfare Officer. All other posts are also welcome to attend meetings. Do not hesitate to contact one of the current committee members if you wish to discuss further any aspects of joining in the organisation of our great club.
The returns officer is Catherine West who can be emailed on catherinewes@gmail.com. So please email Cathy if you wish to apply for any of the positions on the committee. A secret ballot will be taken if more than one person applies for any post.
You will be able to sign up to attend the AGM on Web Collect soon. This is so we know how many chairs to carry up to the Sail Loft, number of teas and coffees to provide along with bar snacks and biscuits. The DQSC bar will also be open.
We need a Core Committee to be able to run the club. CCC is coming along in leaps and bounds, and we are all enjoying the varied paddles organised throughout the year by our enthusiastic leaders.
