Day trip out & back on the upper Hamble. Meet up for 10:00 at Swanwick Hard, SO31 7EF
Potter up the hamble from Swanwick Hard, with the tide. Go ashore at Fairthorne Manor to ensure high tide going into Botley Mill.
Head back on the other branch and visit the Horse & Jockey @ Curbridge.
The round trip is approx 14K, Intend to be back at the car park around 15:30
To suit any type of kayak. Please discuss if you hope to use a paddleboard.
Parkng can be a challenge. Michaela and I typically get there early and have breakfast in the Cafe at Swanwick Marina before 10:00
If the weather forecast for the Sunday is bad but Sat looks OK we might switch to Sat 21st.
