River Wye Symonds Yat weekend trip
We will be camping at Symonds Yat Caravan Park from Friday 11th Sept - Monday 14th Sept.
Saturday will be Ross on Wye to Campsite, Sunday will be Campsite to either Monmouth or Redbrook. See Paddle UK Guide as link below.
You will need to book your own pitch, the site takes vans, tents and awnings. Email directly symondsyatcaravanpark@outlook.com. They are not best on the phone. On the email you can put that you wish to pitch near Keith Heppenstall (or not as the case may be!). Grass pitches are no electric, hard-standing if electric needed. You can of course make alternative accommodation arrangements.
Adults £10pppn grass,
£12pppn +£6 hardstanding with electric
Youngsters £7pppn
Awnings £3 - £5 depending upon size.
Sunday will include an opportunity to gain some experience on the moving water of Symonds Yat rapids for all those interested. Nick P expected to lead this and recommends for the new leaders as an opportunity for skills enhancement.
Saturday night expected to include dinner out, probably at the Old Court Hotel assuming people are interested, please let me know.
