About this Event: Can BNG represent a source of meaningful income to your business or should you leave well alone? Whilst most farm businesses have probably pondered over whether they could benefit from providing a BNG site, very few have actually taken the plunge. It is generally, and quite rightly, seen as risky but it is probably lack of clarity and information that is holding many back.
Led by Matthew Morrison-Clarke and Giles Strother of BBOWT, this event will help answer some of the questions you may have around the topic of BNG. Matt and Giles are both experienced in the subject and have overseen the development of offsite BNG projects. They will provide a user friendly introduction to the topic and look at how habitat banking works in practice, with a focus on considerations and opportunities for farmers. There will be plenty of time for questions, you will leave feeling more informed and you will know where to get advice and support.
