To celebrate a great summer of sailing and SUP and to look forward to Winter Racing, social sailing and to the year ahead. What will it bring for you?

A new boat or board, entry to some events or competitions, adventures or learning new skills?

A chance to refresh your skills, look at the club boats, SUPs and equipment. Meet like minded people and network with sailors and SUPpers.

Supported by the RYA and by Chelmarsh Sailing Club:

Morning Update for RYA Instructors and Assistant Instructors:

10 am: a CPD update for Instructors and AI both Sail and Power. A short indoor session followed by practical sessions:

• few practical tips and demos
• coaching on the water, top tips.
• Powerboat reminders (MOB technique etc)

General Sessions 

11:45 Club Members,

12.45 Potential new members, winter racers and anyone interested in RYA courses

13:15 Lunch a simple soup and roll lunch will be provided members free, please book so we can cater!

14:00 "catch up with the RYA" Open session : Latest info and guidance, lessons from accidents and incidents, reminders and guidance and a review of Midlands sailing activity.

Powerboat assets for membership: refreshers and update

An open session for members to come and refresh / remind/ review. Pbt Instructors deliver member CPD practical skills etc. Reminders about the Powerboats and all the latest RYA guidance.

Powerboat demos and introductions for new members.

Sail Training: Youth and Adult

See the club training boats. We recently had a brilliant Team Racing day with these, have a sail, bring anyone who may want to do a training course and we can do short demo sails. Discuss Sail Training in 2024.

Racing, for existing members, Improvers and any potential winter members:

Meet the Fleet Captains: see the club Solo, ILCA (Lasers), Supernova, Aero and GPs try a boat, meet the fleet, racing clinic and top tips and advice session.

Keelboat

We have run a Keelboat familiarisation course, want a trial , come and have a look and a sail. Perhaps it will start you onto Flotilla sailing or Ocean Racing!

Leisure Sailing

Meet leisure sailors and learn about the Tuesday and Saturday Groups.

Learn about the club meet fellow SUPpers

Try a SUP and Talks and discussions detail TBA

SUP Lessons do a Walk on Water Course to become a member
