This 2-day course is an intensive introduction to the wonderful world of sea kayaking and should allow you to fast track straight to the club’s regular sea kayak trips. Working at your own pace, you will learn and practise effective paddling techniques plus safety and rescues in a supportive team environment. You will also enjoy a spectacular sea kayak journey each day, stopping at a local beach for lunch. You will meet other like-minded members and have a fun and sociable weekend. Dress warmly and bring spare clothes, drinks, snacks and lunch. All boats and kit including wetsuits, boots and waterproof jackets are provided.
Cost: £150 for the 2 days payable to Dartmouth Yacht Club (tickets and payments via Dartmouth Yacht Club’s Web Collect). Venue: Coronation Park, Dartmouth. Times: 9.30am-4pm each day.
