Welcome to East Ayrshire Car Club

We are one of Britain’s top Motorsport Clubs and in have twice won prestige awards in the MSA Motorsport Club of the Year competition.

Based in Ayrshire, our members are mainly spread across central Scotland with several from the further afield.

Members'  interests cover Sprints, Hillclimbs, Autotests, Grasstests, Circuit Racing, Road and Special Stage Rallies.

We own and operate the Kames Motorsport Complex in Muirkirk which has an 800m Sprint track and large surfaced paddock areas which we can use for Autotests and the Classic Car Show.  Clockwise and anti-clockwise running provides 2 tracks with very different characters.

The external and internal rally roads were upgraded to asphalt in 2006 to provide an excellent venue for the Stage Rallies.

We organise Sprints, Grasstests, Autotests, Rallies.

In addition to competitive motor sport, EACC run Members' Test Days and Nights throughout the year.

Open to all members, at a cost of £10 per evening and £35 for a full day, they represent great value for money.

The Kames Complex is also used for Community events, as a training and competition venue for cyclists and as a test track for the Engineering Departments of Strathclyde and West of Scotland Universities.
