Improvers Short Kayaks
This course runs for 5 weeks on Tuesday evenings. Aimed at those who have done the Introductory Kayaking Course or have a similar level of experience. The course will include skills needed for the Explore Award in a kayak as well as additional skills such as rescues and recovery strokes, efficient forward paddling, turning the kayak and moving sideways.
Minimum number for course to run is 4 people.
Please note that this course is open to adults and juniors over the age of 7. Juniors between the ages of 10 and 13 (inclusive) need to be accompanied by a parent or carer. The parent/carer may either join the course or walk along the bank beside the course.
