 Club Camp 2024

Last year we ran our first Club Camp and it was so enjoyable that we made a booking there and then for this summer. So how about joining us at Forest Edge, Sat 20th -Mon 22nd July for lots of riding, fun and friendship?

Initially we're going to offer 16 places for riders who wish to have training but as we have sole use of Forest Edge, there's plenty of room for people who'd like to come for a hacking holiday and explore the miles of off-road, forest tracks which lead directly from the centre. If you want to come for training and miss getting one of the sixteen places, do get in touch as we can look into getting an extra trainer and creating more groups. The camp is open to adults and juniors aged 12+

Training option - £260 for members, £295 for non-members. This includes two nights stabling, five training sessions which could be group or pairs, flat training and poles/jumping, all meals and on the final afternoon team challenges and fun competitions, with rosettes! Want to bring a 2nd horse? £200 for members. (Non-members please contact us to discuss)

Hacking option - £160 for members (£100 for a 2nd horse), £195 for non-members. As above but without the training.

Non-riding family and friends - £60, which is for all your meals.

Accomodation. There is space for tents if you like camping or you could 'camp' in your trailer or bring a caravan or stay in lorries. Forest Edge has lodges that can be booked, but you would need to contact them direct to make your own arrangements. Similarly with electric hook ups for lorries.

Facilities for humans. Meals will be cooked by Forest Edge staff and served in their cafe, which overlooks the main indoor arena. There is a lounge with comfy chairs and sofas, which we'll have our Camp Meetings in and is a good space for relaxing in the evening. There are two coin operated showers.

Facilities for horses. Purpose built stables with concrete floors. Taps and muck heaps are very convenient. There is no turnout but horses may be hand grazed. There are two indoor arenas and a xc field, particularly suitable for the less experienced. Access to the extensive forest hacking is via a gate by the main arena

Booking is via WebCollect and will require a deposit of £100 for riders and £30 for non-riders, to be paid by 20th March. The balance can be paid in instalments. Members will have priority until 10th March and then booking will be open for non-members.
