Welcome to THE GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF GLASGOW
The Geological Society of Glasgow was founded in 1858.
Our object is to advance the education of members and the public in geology and allied sciences.
In doing so we organise a series of lectures from October to April and day and residential field trips during the summer months.
