Renewing Student membership

Period: 365This is for people of any age who are bona fide students to the satisfaction of the Council.
The £10 basic subscription includes access to electronic editions of the peer reviewed HMS Journal and the magazine/newsletter, The Crucible, which is not peer-reviewed.
Where a member opts to receive hard copy versions of both the journal and the newsletter, the annual subscription fee is £30/year.
Where a member opts to receive either the journal or the newsletter in hard copy the annual subscription fee is £20/ year.
A three-year subscription rate is available at three times the annual rate.
Three year student membership
Period: 1095Three years of student membership payable at once.
Renewing Concessionary membership
Period: 365Concessionary members are persons under 18 years or over 65 years of age, and pay the reduced annual subscription fee of £10/year. They have full access to on-line publications which includes the peer-reviewed journal Historical Metallurgy and the news magazine The Crucible, each published twice a year. The Crucible is not peer reviewed.
Where the member opts to receive hard copy versions of both the journal and the newsletter, the annual subscription fee is £30/year.
Where the member opts to receive either the journal or the newsletter in hard copy the annual subscription fee is £20/ year.

New concessionary membership

Renewing Patron
Period: 365A patron is a member who pays extra to support the Open Access project. This project provides a full accessible on-line publication platform without charge to authors.
Patron membership automatically includes hard-copy newsletter and journal.

Period: 365Annual subscription includes hard copy of the annual volume issues 1 and 2 of the Historical Metallurgy Journal. It also includes access to past issues, where available, at a reduced rate.
